Bleeding Heart Dicentra

Eagerly awaited as the first bloom in our garden. The dicentra with its heart shaped flowers hung from long stems is one of the favorites in our garden. We have two varieties and both have done well and they seem to have a very long bloom period for us. This year 'bloomer' like blossoms appeared with the plant only inches out of the ground by April 1st.
