My Grandmother - "Nana"
Oct 29, 1895 - May 16, 2000

My Nana,

There is so much I could say about my Nana.....
And I know we'll be talking from time to time.
Not many kids get to grow up from day one with a wonderful mother and a Nana each day of their lives...
I was that lucky.
She taught me to play the piano....to swim....about the Lord...to laugh....
and to be able to cry.
She helped me thru grade school, high school and then thru college.

I can still see the smile on her face as she held her first great granddaughter....
and then her first great great granddaughter.

Although I never saw my Nana cry....
I'm sure she did.
She seemed to always smile.
She always had a sense of humor.
Like.... who can forget when at her 100th birthday party, when she said,

"Yes, it's true, I am a 100 today, but it's not my fault"

I moved away and couldn't visit as much as I would have liked to.
And each time I had to leave to go back home I'd give my Nana a kiss....and say ...

"see you later....love you."

Nana, we're all going to miss you and love you.
LOVE.....There's something very special about love.....
you take it with you....it doesn't die.
And NANA I know that your basket is more then full.

Nana.....

See you Later.....

Love you....
