12. Meedes Tarpley ANDERSON was
born in 1851 in Wilson County, Tennessee. He died on 13 Nov 1913 in Nashvile, Tennessee.(6) Meedes was a farmer in Lebanon, Wilson County,
Tennessee. He sold his vegetables at a Farmer's Market in Lebanon. He also took care of
Mr. Howe's horses who was the owner of the Carter Shoe Factory. This story was told to me
by Mrs. Mitchell of Nashville, Tennessee. She knew three of Meedes' daughters very well.
Meade was listed in the 1900 Wilson County, Tennessee census as a farmer. He moved to
Nashville, Tennessee about 1901 as he was listed in the City Directory for that year as
living at 1045 S. College and was a manager for A. Booth and Company. He was listed in
each directory through 1913, the year of his death. In 1913 the directory showed him
living at 1329 6th Ave N. and was a foreman for Southern Ice Company. Living with him was
his three daughters, Annie, Lillie and Katherine. The directory listed Annie and Katherine
as clerks for S. H. Kress & Company. He was married to Mary Elizabeth
"Lizzie" WALLACE on 24 Oct 1878 in Wilson County, Tennessee.(7)
13. Mary Elizabeth
"Lizzie" WALLACE was born about 1858 in Wilson County, Tennessee. Children

ANDERSON was born on 3 May 1890 in Tennessee. She died on 19 Jan 1973 in Nashville,
Tennessee.
iii. Lillie Mae
ANDERSON was born on 2 Jan 1892 in Tennessee. She died on 12 Oct 1987 in Nashville,
Tennessee.
iv. Katherine L.
ANDERSON was born on 2 Sep 1895 in Tennessee. She died on 9 Jul 1978 in Nashville,
Tennessee.
v. Lorena
ANDERSON was born in 1884 in Tennessee.
vi. Bowden T.
ANDERSON was born in 1889 in Tennessee.
