In Meeds will dated September 24, 1873, recorded July 8, 1891, he names as heirs his wife, his children and granddaughter Mary Lula Anderson. Recorded on pages 168 - 170, Wilson County wills. He was buried in Bass Cemetery, Wilson County, Tennessee. Meedes purchased 52 acres on Cedar Lick Creek, August 18, 1837, (pages 184 & 185). He was married to Milberry (Milly) BASS on 23 Dec 1844 in Wilson County, Tennessee.

Tennessee. She was buried in Bass Cemetery, Wilson County, Tennessee. Bass Cemetery is
located in Wilson County, Tennessee about one mile off Highway 70 on Bass Lane. It is
south of the highway about 1/4 mile west of Cooks Church. Children were:
