This Ambassadeur 12 / 20 / 30 is ABU's answer to the big game fisherman. These models are intended to be fished with IGFA's line class in the 12 , 20 and 30 category.

ABU 12 was introduced in Jan 1976 to replace the 8500. It was also sold in the early 1980s for the US market as "ABU 8600 Stripper" (Garcia Annual 1980).
