My friends,
It is not often that I ask you to do something, however now is the time I am asking for your help. Each and every one of you can take just a moment to help..
Our Nation is experiencing one of the worst tragedies in its history. Please pray for those who have perished or been injured in this multiple tragedy. Also please include in your prayers the families and friends of those who have been personally touched.
One last prayer request is for the members of the military and their families in this time of uncertainty. My only son is one of these military members. As we know the military is on Delta alert, the highest alert this country has in place. We have no idea what will come next, will our sons and daughters, husbands and wives, be sent to fight an unseen enemy? Will they be safe?
My heart is aching, and my tears won’t stop, I am afraid. We are all frightened and there is nothing that we can do but trust in those people who are in the position of power to decide their fates.
Please pray that the people who make decisions are empowered and lead by their Higher Power to make the right choices. Please pray that they do not act in haste and retaliation, but from calm cool heads. Now is not the time to care who you voted for, or if you agree with the policies of this government. Now is the time to pray that we get through this without further tragedy.
Please pass my request on to your mail lists, every prayer that is sent up will help. Thank you………
Donna (MomPeepers)
We are moved by the alarming news and crisis that our country is facing. This great nation is founded in the beliefs of "In God We Trust" and "The Land of the Free." Please have mercy on those suffering, hurting, and in fear. Give wisdom and strength to those who are assisting. May the forces of evil be broken by your power and may we be humble before thee, our strength and refuge. Give wisdom to our President and our leaders. Bring them your comforting peace through the power of your Holy Spirit. Help us reach out to those who have been affected by this tragedy.
In the name of our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus. AMEN
I would just like to let you know that I not only sent that email out to all my friends but I also added your prayer request to a special web page I made. I am not always the best with words but it was my way of expressing the deep felt sorrow and disgust at what some very unsavoury people can do and should not be getting away with. I hope you do not mind me adding it to my page but please if you do object just let me know and I will take it off. the addy of the URL is http://www.angelfire.com/ab/aussieangel1/USA.html
God Bless Ruth a.k.a. Angel
Dear Donna, My heartfelt Prayers are with you and your loved ones at this time. I also offer my Prayers for the others who have lost a loved one or ones who have someone missing. Be strong! **HUGS** ~~Patty~~
I hope all is well with you and your family. Our radio station has been concentrating on this disaster around the clock. This is the worst thing to happen to your country. Our city, Vancouver, has just sent their expert rescue team in to help in New York. Keep in touch when you can. Amy *Hugs*
I just received this from a friend in Israel and had to share! Please take time to view this! Love Pat aka Toto

I can barely comprehend it. It's at times like this I feel a renewed sense of pride in fellow Americans (and family members) who protect the country as well as shame for having taken my freedoms and liberty for granted, at least until Tuesday. That's when I realize the full sense of their commitment. Love,Karena
My Prayers are with you, Donna, & with all the Families of both the victims of this atrocity & those who may be called upon to to fight for this wonderful country of ours. My son, Marine Corps. Staff Sgt. Christopher Nagle, may also be among those. He has been a Marine for 9 years, now, & has said that he will proudly serve America when & if the call should come. It is a dark time for all of us in the USA, & it is time for us to band together in Prayer & support, not only for our loved ones, but for the whole world. Please keep me posted as to what's happing with your son. Love, Lady Enoon (Lynn)
Dear Donna, when I received this from Amy I wanted to cry for you. I DID cry for you for I feel your fear of the loss of a loved one. Keep the faith and know that I am praying for you and your son as well as all the youngsters with him. I feel my friends will gladly and humbly do the same. You have people all over the world praying, so the Lord will be with you and all who have suffered personnally from the horrendous act performed by those mislead people who think they are performing some sort of heroic deed. I pray for them as well. Donna I have a prayer page at http://www.oocities.org/froelick/prayerlist.html. Take a look and if you want, give me your son's first name and I will gladly add it. I have been told by folks that it works. All my prayers and love, Flo
Got your prayer request, you didn't even need to ask. My thoughts and best is with everyone. Am keeping really good and positive thoughts for Jeremy, he has been on my mind today. Can't really talk much about the events as all I can do is stare at the TV or break out in tears. Trying not to be hateful, but am having some trouble with it. Especially with the news footage of some people in celebration, just want to do deep ugly damage to them personally. Trying my best to suppress the feelings. Thinking of you. Genny
My prayers are with you all!! God Bless America HUGS Debbie
In memory of all those who perished this morning; the passengers and the pilots on the United Air and AA flights, the workers in the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, and all the innocent bystanders. Our prayers go out to the friends and families of the deceased. And to those who may be called to serve.
I just wanted to say that all our prayers are with you and the others who have loved ones in the military. My son, also, is on standby and we were told that they were probably the first ones to go. Its distressing but at least we know at this time where they are. We know that they are alive and not trapped in rubble. My youngest daughter just returned home with a discharge (medical) from a Navy base that is locked down. They locked it down a day after she returned home. In every dark moment we can find some light. I hope they dont call them up. I hope that we find this man and his group without losing more American lives.
God bless you and your family and we can join together in prayer for our children.
Sharon
Hi Donna WoW, I was just thinking of you the other day. I certainly will remember you and your family in our prayers. What a sad time. God bless, Diane6554
Prayer Request Received. Done.May God bless, Carl
I just want you to know that I will keep your son in prayer. My prayer list is very long and involved. My tears are great. How can such a thing happen in America!! I pray God will hold safe all our military personell and families. I pray He will guide our government in all their decision making and the 'hunt' for the cowards who have caused such pain in our country and even in the world. Feel free to contact me whenever you wish. In God's love, Pastor Susan Reynolds
Hello Donna, USA, one of our American brothers, has been attacked by the devil's beasts. Because of it, all the American peoples have been attacked, all the human beings have been attacked. Yes, we are praying for those who have perished or been injured in this multiple tragedy and for the families and friends of those who have been personally touched. But we don't fear the devil and his beasts. We, the human beings, will destroy the devil's beasts, because God is with us. Jorge in Uraguay

Forwarded by many many people!
Dear Donna, I don't know what I can say to ease the fear that you are feeling right now. I live 25 miles north of NYC and when we heard the reports when a co-worker's wife called us...we all went into shock. Even as we heard about the first plane hitting the building we knew it was at terrorist attack and our fears were raised wondering whether the nuclear plant just north of us would be struck next.
I do believe that our government and the governments of all the other democracies in the world will join together to do the right thing. But keep in mind, we can't let this go and I'm sure right now your son would agree. I also believe that with all the technology we have today, that we can seek these people out with minimum risk to additional lives being lost and without endangering the people of the world.
We have to rid the world of these lunatics somehow, but this time we have to go all the way and not back down like we did in the Persian Gulf. I don't want to think of war or violence either, but unfortunately there is no other way.
As we sit here just north of the city, listening to the things they've done to protect our water supplies, etc., closing the airports and the roads in and out of the city, it makes us realize just how vulnerable we really are. It has dampened our spirit and our ability to feel safe and we need to pull together and understand that whatever our government needs to do to give us that feeling back, they must.
My heart goes out to you and your family as well as to the rest of the people here in the U.S. Although it hit NYC and DC, the attack was directed at all of us.
Just take one day at a time. Betty
Hi! Donna, I can only hope that you are feeling better by the time you read my note. Your last note was very touching. The whole tragedy was senseless. I pray that the USA does not go to war. We already lost enough folks, more is not going to make it better.
As side from this issue, I hope you are doing well. You have been in my thoughts and hopefully soon we can plan on meeting up again. Take care and keep the faith that the USA can work this out without further bloodshed. Nancy R.
Hi Donna: We know how you feel. We have Jason out there among the ranks too. Cecilia called for Jerry today. I talked to her a few minutes. I will pray for the safety and peace of mind for both our boys. Take care, Nancy M.
note: Cecilia is my (MomPeepers')daughter in law.
Hello Donna, Amy had forwarded your email to many and, of course, I was one of them. I understand the fear you are going through for my only son had once joined the Army just before the Gulf War. I thank God that he had a medical problem (I know that doesn't sound like a good mother but it brought him home) that they released him from the military on a medical. But while he was away, there wasn't a second that I didn't fear for his life; not knowing if I would ever see him again or hear his voice and hug him. My deepest, heartfelt prayers are for you all as they are for who were touched in any way with our devastation today and the days to come.
So, I pray to my Heavenly Father to not only be with us all but to send His Angels to help protect all of us that are in the mist of it all. To open the President and all his men and women who work with him in any way to look at all possibilities before making any decisions. I pray that whatever decisions are made that they are made with the will and grace of our God. And through these horrible days to come, let miracles happen... make miracles happens to protect without further tragedies. I pray for our Heavenly Father to bring peace, confidence, strength and wisdom to all the families and all who participate in the recovery of what happened today and what may happen in the future.
I thank you, Father, for listening not only to my prayers but the prayers of all in our nation. For being the one and only true, loving God for answering my and prayers of others. For there are many who cry out to You in this great need of Your love and grace. Father, we all know our country is not a perfect country; we all have our hands in sin. I pray You will show the world the love and compassionate God You are. For all those who sacrificed their lives and those who are yet to come, I say, forever missed, never forgotten and always loved. But with Your love and blessings, the sorrows could be minimum.....even none. I pray and ask this of You in the name of my Lord Saviour, Jesus Christ. Amen.
hugs and prayers,Frandy
Donna, It was good to see you safe today. I, like you, have a loved one in the military on the enterprise. They are currently in the Gulf and I imagine on high alert. Unlike the president I'm finding it hard to gather myself and conduct business as normal. But we must keep our heads up and hearts prayful for those who are truly hurt. Love, Ava
There has been a tragady on this day, Why this happend no one can say. I take the time to give my hopes and prayer, Who could have done this, it just isn't fair. Why do we loose the ones we truly care for? This is tragic, and affects everyone from shore to shore.
I tell you this to make you care, Maybe not in flesh but you were there. The sadness fills the air around this land, there is something wrong that we will not stand. I wish I could take back everything that happened today, I wish I could do it take it all away.
I shead a tear for the ones we lost, I would do what it takes no matter the cost. To take back what these people took away, So join me in prayor for the ones we lost today. I have friends and family in the sights they hit, A face full of tears I have, I will admit.
Hopeing that justice will be done, So I can sleep at night, and remember my son. What I truly wish is to make it all go away, Until this is all over I will hope and pray.
Bill Pierce
Donna--my prayers are with your son and all of us. I looked at my students today and nearly cried in front of them, because I'm scared they won't live to have children of their own. Life will never be the same. Barby
It is comforting to hear a calling for prayers. I wholeheartedly trust our leaders will do what is right, and will pray for all devastated by this tragedy as well as those who committed this wrong.
Veronica and Mom Jennifer
You have my prayers. Raina
Please consider it done. I have added your son to our prayer circle. Thanks, Scott

We, the Brazilian people, are praying for all Americans and praying too for your government in order they make the right choice. We believe really in it. Our considerations! Teacher Márcia Soares and staff.
My prayers are with everyone in our nation especially those military people and rescue workers. Cindy/tykie
You and your family, as well as our entire nation are in my prayers. It is important that we all keep a sense of peace and love during this time of tragedy. It is a horrible thing that has happened. We need to pull together, pray, help one another and show the world we are strong and love eachother because we are "one nation under God". If we send out love and peace to eachother in our prayers it will do much to heal the hurt and keep us all strong. I also pray you find peace where now there is fear. God is still in control sweety. That is what will get us all through this. May none of us forget. Stay strong. If you need a friend, I'm here. Many Blessings. Helen
