More About Me...
First of all, I am male, I have brown hair and blue eyes.
Right now, I am 15 years old!!!!
I have 3 brothers (living), one which is 8 at this time and the other is 4.
The sports I enjoy are Basketball (Bull's to be exact!),
Street Hockey, Football, Baseball, Soccer, Tennis is my favorite.
I also enjoy swimming, rollerblading, ice hockey, fishing,
hunting and all the other things boys my age like to do!
My mom told you about Purdy our Dalmation and Lindy our turtle,
so there really isn't much for me to say about them. However, my
favorite animals are Horses! I think cheetas are neat and bears
are fascinating!
As far as school goes, I am glad that I was home
educated and have found that I really like spelling, reading,
and math which I didn't like before! However, I still
enjoy science and history. This home education thing has really
kicked in and I think that I learned more from it than I did
all the years I was in public schools, prior to home education!
The reason I was taken out of public school to begin with is because I was just being "pushed" through the system! The teachers there, or anyone else for that matter at the school didn't care if I learned anything! I was labeled ADHD and given Ritalin from the time I was in Kindergarten until I was taken out in the 6th grade by my Mom! They had put me in LD classes, and just really didn't even care! She gave me a diagnostics test in Language Arts, and Math and found my grade level far below where I should be! It made her very upset, and she decided to do something about it! It worked! Things were going good! UNTIL...
I decided that I wanted to go back and live with my "real" father! I made it so difficult on my mother and the rest of the family, that they had no choice but to let me! Now, I know, that I did the wrong thing, and after this school year, I am sure that I am coming back to my Mom's to home school again! I realized what a mistake I made, and how hard it has been for my mom, and "step" Dad to give me the tough love that was needed to bring me to this conclusion on my own! This has been the hardest thing I have had to do in my life so far, but, I feel I am a better person, because of my mother and Dad!
So, if you are going through a rough, rebelious time in your life right now, please take my advice, and liten to your mother! She will NOT lead you wrong!
Well...I am now homeschooling again, and working part-time with my biological father. Things are really going good.
