God's Special Angel When God made this Angel
He made her very Special.
First God reached
down from Heaven
And took granite and added it to the mix.
The Angels asked God why.
He smiles and answers,
"In times of trouble this Angel
Will be the rock that others hold to."
Then God called
Job from the far side of Heaven.
Once again the other Angels asked God why and
Once again God only smiles and answers them,
"From Job I will take a bit of patience, something
This Angel will be known and loved for."
Next God reaches
out into the heavens
And gets a bit of star dust.
Again the Angels asked God why.
Once again God looks at them and softly replies,
"With this star dust I will make her eyes twinkle
With child-like wonder and imagination
That will last forever."
Next He gave her
a soft voice.
And the other Angels ask God why
Such a soft voice for such a being?
He smiles and gently answered,
"If I gave this Angel a voice of thunder
People would shy away,
But with this voice little ones will
Hearken to her."
Last God took
soft clay from the earth and formed a heart.
Again the Angels looked up at God and asked why.
This time God looked down at the Angels and
Slowly said,
"This heart will never grow hard, be quick to forgive,
Be strong and full or love."
Then with a tear
in his eye, He said,
"I also know it will hurt and break
And there will be times she will think
I've abandoned her and all is lost.
Oh, my sweet Angel, I am but a prayer away just
Waiting to hold you and wipe your tears away."
"My dear
ones,
This Special Angel will play many roles.
Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, and Friend.
She will always put others
Before herself in all that she does.
She will be a shinning light to all that know her
And to a few she will be that Special Someone.
The Someone that inspired them to dream."
When God had
finished
He looked down at the new being.
With a smile he said,
"This Angel shall be known as Patsy."
