History of William Ryals Basford

Not much here yet.

There was some information that William died in Normandy during WWII. The note also says that he died along the Seine River in France. There was some confusion on when he died. One spot said he died on June 12, 1944 and another spot said he died December 6, 1944. In a listing from the LDS group I found that they reported that he died on June 12, 1944 and was buried about May 20, 1949 in the United States.

There was also a note on the sheets that I received that said William was a twin and that his twin sister died at about six months old.

I have included her in the listing of people. If I find out anything different I will make the changes.
