History of George Washington Basford

Not much here yet.

It looks like George Washington Basford was located in the community of Dykes Mill in the county of Jackson in the state of Florida during the census of 1900. This census was taken on June 1, 1900. George was 32 years old and his wife was 30 years old. George was a farmer.

George and Martha had one child at the time of the census and it was a daughter. Her name was Martha Leslie Basford and she was about 16 months old. Martha Leslie Basford was born around October, 1898.

The census also said that George's father and mother were from North Carolina.
Martha's father was from Georgia and her mohter was from Florida.
