History of Simon Augusta Beauchamp

1870 CENSUS
It looks like Simon Augusta Beauchamp was a farmer at the time the census was taken in 1870. Simon, age 50, and his wife Martha Elizabeth Cook, age 30 had three kids, James (age 15), Francise (age 11), and John (age 4).

Simon born around 1820 was originally from Georgia and Martha born around 1840 was from Florida. Neither Simon nor Martha could read or write. Their fifteen year old son James was also not able to read or write.
