These pages are about me, Della Johnson, and my wonderful family

Hello and welcome to my page. My name is Della, but on the net I am known as DJsong. This site is about my family, my interests, and my friends. First a little about myself. I'm 38 years old and I am a certified teacher. I also have my license as an administrator and I am currently obtaining my doctorate degree through the University of Phoenix Online Program (WHICH IS AWESOME). Now we have moved to Tennessee away from everyone we know to start all over again. It has been an exciting adventure and I have made many new friends. I have finally accomplished what I wanted to do when we moved to Tennessee and I've gotten a teaching job in the public schools of Tennessee. Specifically, I teach 4 year old preschool at Fannie Battle Day Home for Children in Nashville, TN. When I'm not teaching or playing with my kids I am usually reading.....or playing on my computer. I love reading books, doing cross-stitch, working puzzles, and spending time with my family.br>

MY HUSBAND

DEAN is a wonderful husband who tends my every need. We have been married for 20 years and have three beautiful children. Dean was a firefighter for six years. He said he could work anywhere, so we quit our jobs and moved here to Tennessee. He now works with Helton and Associates and does various types of land surveying. He absolutely loves his job and the people he works with now. He also loves hunting and fishing and watching the BRAVES play baseball. He has many hobbies on the side because he hates to sit still. He is a marvelous cook and actually cleans better than I do. Now who could ask for more from a man?

MY CHILDREN

• CHRISTI is nineteen years old. She loves horseback riding and races in endurance races. Endurance races are 25, 50, or 100 mile races on horseback. Learn more about her on her page. Currently she is a student at the University of South Carolina.

• DUSTIN is the oldest of my fifteen year old twins. He loves John Deere tractors, four-wheeling and going to the horse auction. He actually wants to ride a bull but I say NO!

  DYLAN is the youngest and he likes being the baby of the family. He loves playing LaCrosse for his high school team, skateboarding with his friends and jumping on the trampolene to learn new skateboard tricks. He is a real dare devil...sometimes.

FAMILY

Family is very important to me as you can see. I am the only girl in my family and I grew up with three brothers, who are all wonderful in their own way. I will probably eventually add pages that contain their pictures, but since they haven't given me in a while I'll leave them out until they do... *grin* (hint, hint). I have included a very special page for my oldest brother Connell and his son Adam. Connell and Adam were killed in a car accident on April 5, 1997. My family pulled together and got through the experience feeling stronger because of it. Connell was an amazing brother who left behind some very special poems. I have included two on this site. Please click on them and read what he left behind. One is a CHRISTMAS POEM that I have just added and the other is a DEDICATION to he and his son that gives a testimony to his faith. The other very important people in my life are my grandparents. They have brought special joy to my life and have given me many special times and wonderful memories. I love them dearly and have a special GRANDPARENTS page just for them.

HOBBIES

What are those? I'm on the computer all the time...*smile*

Most of the time I am doing school work or working on some other "job" I have. When I have time, I love to read, scrapbook, sing, and play video games with my family. We just got a Wii for Christmas. There are too many of you to even begin to name but I want you all to know that you are very dear to me. Even though you are all in many places all over the world you are with me each day that I turn on my computer. You are all special people to me for many different reasons. I enjoy our conversations and look forward to each and every one. I added a POEM for all of my friends, please check it out.
