DEDICATED TO A WONDERFUL FATHER AND A BLESSED SON

ADAM and CONNELL

These two people touched the hearts and lives of many people through their friendships and their love of God. They were dedicated to their family and had a special bond that is unbreakable even in death. The family knows that they are together and sharing a blessing in heaven that none on earth will ever know.
This poem was placed on this page as a continuance of the testimony that Connell Hancock shared with people while he was on earth. GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU!

Walking With The Lord

My Father in Heaven
the love of my life
who saved me from worldliness
troubles and strife

You have filled my heart with gladness
and shown me your perfect way
Your Holy Spirit has filled it
and it overflows today.

I come to you in the morning
to bring you my plans for the day
You tell me you understand
and then show me a better way

I tried to live without you
Living the way I want
You showed me that doesn't work
Sin always come back to haunt.

I tried to live with a little of you
just enough to get by
But you told me its all or nothing
anything else is a lie

It's really been a struggle
Since you've come to save my heart
it's been divided so long
'cause I wanted you to have only a part

But you tell me not to worry
there's not a heart you can't change
just be patient and trust me
I've got a few things to rearrange

Sometimes I get impatient
and run ahead of your plan
but when I stumble you pick me up
And together I see we can.
