Continuing the garden photos -

My unruly wisteria along the back fence. This grows wildly all over the place and would take over the back yard if I let it. The runners have to be cut back from all the other trees nearby otherwise it would climb all over them. This, and the kowhai tree next to it are in flower at springtime.

The glorious New Zealand Kowhai tree in full spring bloom. The nectar in the flowers attracts the native Tui bird. There are always several of them feeding off this tree every spring.
