Denis Place - My Garden

So this is where I live - from the front. The house has a flat roof so there isn't much to see behind the trees along the front. This photo was taken a few years ago. Since then the magnolia and the kowhai have grow larger and can now be seen above the house roof.

Around the side of the house, the patio area. This is not long after it had new pavers laid so everything looks nice and clean. One drawback with living in Northland is the warm wet climate. The path gets a lot of moss and lichen growth on it, so has to be washed down and sprayed with a cleaner several times a year to stop it going green. Of course, the shade created by the trees makes this worse by keeping the sun off parts of the path.
