Decorating Tips and Hints

Most of us love to decorate our homes, so I have added some decorating tips for your enjoyment. Just remember that our home reflects us and our personality. So have fun adding your decorations, whether they are store bought or made by your own two hands. Most of all, have fun and make sure that it pleases you, as you have to look at it day in and day out.

If you have a dark wall and you want to lighten up the room, use gold frames and accessories. This is especially good for those of you who have paneling.

To make a small room look larger, add a mirror. Mirrors are great for corners as well.

To welcome guests into your home, give your entry wall a warm and inviting feeling.

Mirrors are also good for your entry walls (as we can check our hair and make-up for those last minute touches before we go out the door).

Accessorize those mirrors by adding some florals, such as a swag placed above it in colors to match your decor.

By adding florals to your rooms, whether it be a flower arrangement or swags above mirrors or pictures, it gives you the feeling of being outdoors.

Candlelight can also be warm and inviting. Not to mention adding a nice scent to your home. Candlelight can also be very romantic.

To accessorize your prints, use florals, shelves and/or small mirrors to complete your grouping. Sconces can be added for candlelight.
