Halls Immigrating to America

 

This information which may or may not pertain to my family is included to assist future researchers in my family or in another Hall branch who may one day read this in search of a link. The book , Passengers to America from the New England Historical and Genealogic Register, edited by Michael Tepper and published by Geneologic Publishing Company in 1980 listed the following Hall passages to America.

On July 24, 1776 Amelia sailed from the Port of London to Philadelphia. Henry Hall age 26, a cooper from Hampshire and John Hall age 21, a groom from Sussex were indentured servant passengers.1

On July 27, 1635 James Hall age 18 sailed on the Primrose to Virginia.2

On October 14, 1699 James Hall of Exton in Lancashire who was 11 years old, sailed on the Elizabeth as a servant indentured for 12 years to Thomas Bowling enroute to Maryland and Virginia.3

Bound to Henry Smith for 5 yearrs was James Hall of Northumberland, age 26, who sailed on Anne and Sarah, on January 23, 1700.4

Samuel Hall of Canterbury, a yeoman, his wife Joan and 5 servants sailed from Sandwich. (page 124,date unspecified).5

The Plaine Joan sailed to Virginia in 1633 with Thomas Hall age 21 on board. He later lived in Cambridge, Mass.6

In July, 1635, Thomas Hall,15, William Hall, 21 and Joseph Richardson, 19 sailed to Virginia aboard Assurance de Lo.7

On Oct. 24, 1635 the Constant Clement Campion carried Thomas Hall aged 21.8

William Hall age 21 of Burnley in Lane sailed to Maryland or Virginia as a servant indentured to John Walls for a period of 4 years aboard Concord.9
