Jody spent her early years in Bisbee, Arizona before moving to Wenatchee, Washington when she was in high school. She attended Eastern Washington University where she played on the college volleyball team. She still plays competitive volleyball in Hawaii. She met her husband, Stan, in Washington and moved to Hawaii in 1989 to be with him when he was transferred here by his employer, a large construction firm. Jody works as a flight attendant which comes in handy for all the traveling they do. They enjoy skiing and scuba diving.
Jody's birthday is November 7. She likes shells, things Southwestern and cats. Her favorite food is Mexican food, but being raised near the Mexican border has made it difficult to find a local restaurant that can compare so she has developed a taste for Hawaiian food.
