The Kent Railway Station
The Kent Railway Station was actively used for almost one hundred years. Opened in 1875, the station is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and is one of only two surviving examples of Tuscan Revival depots. The Kent Historical Society bought the train station in 1975, renovating the historic landmark at a cost of $520,000 acquired through a variety of government grants along with many businesses and private donations.
