Hand Flowers

Materials needed:

Trace the girls' hand onto the paper. Cut out and curl the fingers with a pencil by wrapping each finger around the pencil. Fold the hand into a trumpet shape with the fingers curling outward just like a lily flower. Tape closed. Staple the flower onto a straw. Cut leaf shapes out of the green construction paper and staple those to the straw also. Four or five of these flowers make a nice bouquet.

Candle Centerpiece

Materials needed:

Mix the glue and beans together. Place the candle in the center of the tuna can and spoon the bean mixture around the candle until it reaches the top of the tuna can. Let dry for 24 hours. Tie a bow around the base of the candle. Glue the gems on the outside of the tuna can.

Miniature Slate Craft

Materials needed:

Glue the popsicle sticks together to make a box. It's best to lay two sticks vertical first and then glue two across hortizontal. Cut the black paper to fit the popscile sticks large enough to be glued on the back of the sticks. While the sticks are drying, write a note onto the black paper. Examples: I love you, Happy Fathers Day, Happy Mother's day and so on. Glue the paper to the back of the sticks and glue a hanger onto the back on either side of the top of the sticks.

Refrigerator Magnets

Materials needed:

Trace your pattern or draw something simple freehand. Cut out and stick the magnet on the back. Decorate however you like.
