I am Elena Kirkman, of the Barony of Wiesenfeuer, in the Kingdom of Ansteorra. I have been a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) for a year.
The SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe.
I have had a few adventures and have been involved in the sewing guild and arts & science guild, learning ancient crafts, like inkle weaving and medieval embroidery. I am also trying to learn to play the recorder, penny whistle, and ocarina. I will be sharing some of my adventures here.
