BIMONTHLY CALENDER OF ACTIVITIES FOR LCHE MEMBERS

THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES ARE OPEN TO ALL LCHE MEMBERS REGARDLESS OF SUPPORT GROUP AFFILIATION

LCHE BAND CLASSES - are available to all LCHE students, beginning in the fifth grade.
Classes are held every Tuesday at 12:30 PM at the Murray Community Church.
Cost: $10/wk for first child; $5/week for second child; $2.50/wk for third.
Preregistration is required.

THANKSGIVING PROGRAM - Is your county interested in participating?

BOWLING - On the fourth Monday of every month, at 2:00PM at Bob' Bowl
in Metropolis. It's sponsored by our So. IL. group and is open to all members.
Cost: $1.50/game, including shoes.

ROLLER SKATING - The second Thursday of each month we go rollerskating
at Kingsway Skateland, on Wayne Sullivan Dr., in Paducah. The member only session
is from 10:00AM to 11:30AM; cost is $2.50 including skate rental.

SCHOLASTIC BOOK ORDERS - Book orders are due to Cindy by Roller Skating
each month.

LCHE QUARTERLY MEETING - Thursday, Oct. 16; 6:10PM; at West End Baptist
Church, 28th. & Clark Sts., Paducah. Program - Don Woolett from CHEK. It's a covered
Dish. Each family please bring two dishes to share, a two liter beverage to share and a place
(plates, utensils, cups).

LEWIS & CLARK MINI-UNIT STUDY - Mondays, November 3 & 17; 12:00 to 4:00PM; at the
Paducah Public Library. Cost - $3.00/student. Register with Nora by 10/20.

LCHE NEW MEMBER Q & A - Monday, November 17; 6:00 - 6:45PM; at the Paducah Public
Library. Open to all new & prospective members who have questions about home schooling and
LCHE. To register or for more information contact Nora

NEW! LCHE TEACHER TRAINING SERIES - The first workshop will be held Monday, November 17
7:00PM; at the Paducah Public Library. It's topic will be Science in the Home School. To register contact Nora
Watch for future workshops to be held in February, March, May and June on other topics.

HOLIDAY CRAFT WORKSHOP - Friday, November 21; 9:15 to 3:00PM; at West End Baptist
Church, 28th & Clark Sts., Paducah. Students will be able to pick 4 our of 9 crafts to make.

Visual Manna Workshops - Three seperate workshops will be held on Tuesday, December 9; at a
Mayfield area location TBA. 10:00 - 11:30AM: Christmas Art W.S., $5.00, for students & parents;
12:30 - 2:30PM: A Mom's Only W.S., $10.00. 3:00 - 4:00PM: A Parent's W.S.
