William Thomas Vaughan came to Missouri from Illinois in early manhood, and with the exception of a few years, spent his whole life at his home two and one half miles southwest of Bearcreek, Missouri. Uncle Bill, as he was known to his many friends, was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand in sickness or need, and while in the last few years of his life he had been in very poor health, he was always solicitious of those around him. He was converted and professed his faith in God under Holiness preaching several years ago.
