I want to say that I appreciate the work you are doing. There are but few who will stand up for the truth against the popish lie. Being a former Catholic saved by grace, I can really understand where you are coming from.
Yesterday I was talking to two Catholic ladies about salvation. One curious thing I have observed, is that when these papists run out of arguments, they accuse of saying things that you never mentioned. For example one of the afore-mentioned ladies in the course of our conversation, started saying that I said that I could not pray for a Catholic, (I never said that), then she said that I was only repeating the creeds of my church. (I had only quoted Scriptures, never any mention of any church.) Of course, I frankly told her that Rome was the system of the Antichrist, and that she needed to turn to the true Christ of Scriptures. I also have with me a debate that took place between an old Presbyterian preacher and a Jesuit,in 1941,in Toronto, Canada. It was recently published by the “Canadian Protestant League”. If you are interested I could send you a copy by e-mail (I don't know the procedure for that), or by regular mail. Please pray for me, I have no friends that stand by my side as I contend for the faith.

Dear J.A.,
You are not alone...there are many of us out here and we do know exactly where you are coming from! We are accused daily of “bashing” or “causing division” from both sides of the fence. But be strong and courageous because we are in a war...a spiritual war and the only weapon we have is the sword, which is the word of God as Eph.6 tells us (notice it doesn’t say two swords, tradition and the word).
We would love to have you e-mail the debate that took place in 1941. That should be very interesting!
Know that you are in our prayers and that if you need to talk to someone...we are here. You are welcome to e-mail us anytime! May God bless you richly.

Dear Sir,
Just happened to be surfing the NET looking for the real meaning of Halloween and came across your Web Page. I am having a lot of trouble believing in the Catholic doctrine, especially since the pope proclaimed that evolution is a worthy concept. I guess that is just another straw on the camel's back for me. I went to catholic school through 12th grade. I am now 49 yrs. young and reading the bible, finally! In any case, I wish to know more about you organization and the false teaching of the catholics. More importantly I need to find the TRUTH.
Can you help ?
Thank You,
G.G. of Omro, Wi.
Dear Gregory,
Thank you for writing us. I have "good news" for you Gregory! It is called the "gospel" (which means good news). I know that you have been taught the Roman road to salvation for 49 years by the church of Rome....but this is the true Roman road and you will find it in the book of Romans.
1.We are all sinners. "As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one." (Rom.3:10)
2."For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Rom.3:23) That means...that even at your best, your very best...you still come short of living up to the standards of the living God.
3.It says in Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death...." A wage is something we earn. Since all have sinned...we have all earned death!
4."...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Rom.6:23) A gift is something you accept, it is not something you can earn. That's why Eph.2:8-9 says:
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
And again in Titus 3:5:
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us...."
5.Romans 11:6 clarifies the difference between grace and works:
"And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work."
Gregory...we were taught that if we did enough good works we might be acceptable to God...but this is not the true gospel. It simply says:
"God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."(John 3:16)
5.Romans 10:8-11 says:
"...The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
6.Romans 10:13 says "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
You can be a "whosoever" right now Gregory! All you have to do is go to Jesus and pray this simple prayer from the heart and believe: Lord, I know that I am a sinner, and that I need a Savior. I believe that you died for my sins and paid the full price. I repent of my sins and trust in you. I believe that you raised from the dead and that you are coming back for your church. I'm asking you to save me today...to come into my heart and lead me in the way that I should go. I thank you for the promise of the Holy Spirit to guide me in your word. Thank you Jesus!
If you just prayed that prayer and really meant it, then you are saved. I John 5:13 says:
"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may KNOW that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."
I know that you were taught that we cannot know that we are saved...but when you read your bible...you will see that Jesus does love you and has saved you with an "eternal redemption".(Heb.9:12)
May God bless you as you continue reading the word so you may grow up into spiritual maturity. (I Pet.2:2) If there is anything we can do...or any questions we can answer...please write us. You are in our prayers and in our hearts! You are also on our mailing list! We will try to get all the back issues to you as soon as possible.
Read Romans 4:1-25. I think you will like it! "Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail..." (Isa.34:16) "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Ps.119:105)

Dear B.D.,
Thank you for letting us know we were on the radio. You are now on our mailing list. Hope you enjoy it and can use it to reach out to Catholics.

Dear Rebecca,
Thank you for your reply to my letter Sept/Oct. issue. Glad you liked Prov.3:5-6 (key word in these verses “ALL”). I have done a fantastic study (very uplifting) study on the word “ALL”.
I had many years ago started to write a book on informing Christians how to witness to Catholics in love with the scriptures and to educate Catholics according to scripture plus giving some life incidents.
In 1970, in my hometown Hartlepool, England, we started a Bible-Club in our home for the neighborhood children ranging from 6-16 years old. There was one boy in particular which my story is about . His name was John and he was 11 years old. John was very faithful in attending every week and even came by other days to ask more questions. He was very hungry and excited about God’s Word. One of those days he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. The change and joy in his life and eyes was great. One day he proudly brought over to my house his big beautiful looking Catholic Bible with his name, D.O.B., and baptism date in it. He was very proud of it. I then proceeded to show in God’s Word the falseness of the Catholic church. John was very amazed, but listened, took it in, understood, and by the Spirit of God believed it. John asked me for some bible study notes on what I shared with him, plus more. I dug up all I could for him because he wanted to share his testimony with his family, plus the notes. Two or three weeks passed by without seeing him, until one terrible day we were given a message from him by his friend (a verbal message because of fear of the priest) “David and Gloria, I miss you both, and I’m sorry I cannot see you ever again. I shared my testimony and the bible verses you gave me from God’s Word, the Bible. My parents got angry, rejected all I said and took me to our priest. The priest got very angry at me and my parents said some words I did not understand and words a priest or nobody should say. He told my father that he would lose his job, the mortgage would be closed on his house and he would lose it and be persecuted to hell as heretics if John ever associated with us again, even to the extent of walking down the street we lived on. (He lived 3 streets away). The priest said that you were branded as heretics, workers of Satan. But I, John, said I do not believe him. Pray for me and my family. Do not try to contact me. I am afraid of the priest and my father. I love you both.”
Oh! How much John’s family needs our Lord Jesus Christ and the truth from the Word of God, not from a man or church organization. I’m glad that I wrote this. I thought about John and his family for many years. Everyone... Please help me...pray for them even if it is 26 years later!
Well there is the story I promised. Enjoyed going thru my notes after all these years. Included is a gift towards your ministry of $100. Love to share with Catholics after witnessing to them, 2 Cor. 6:17-18:
“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”
Love In Christ To All,
D.A.Y. of Del City, OK
Dear D.A.Y.,
We really enjoyed your letter and it reminds us that Catholicism still continues to use scare tactics to keep her people under subjection. This is one of the main signs of a cult. If you dare to question their authority you are intimidated, insulted and ultimately damned by the church of Rome. If you go back and read the debate between FCFC and Catholic Apologist International you can see the same tone and derogatory remarks made to us for daring to question Rome’s doctrines. We also suffered persecution from our family members until ultimately God delivered them also. What a hope we have in Jesus!
We welcome any of your stories or testimonies and hope that it will enlighten some of our Christian brothers and sisters of the true dangers of Catholicism and her cultic tactics.
Thank you for your kind donation. May God bless it to the glory of His name, Jesus Christ!
A sister in Christ,
Rebecca A. Sexton
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
When you speak of the Blessed Mother I advise you demonstrate reverence and kindness the same way as Jesus did.
Your bulletin, THE GOOD NEWSletter, gives the appearance of scholarship but it is biased and boring. It is biased because you never bring to the readers alternative ways of thinking in a constructive way. It is boring because it consists of constant quotations taken from here and there to try to prove your point.
If you are truly concerned with searching and finding the truth as God sees it, I recommend to grab the opportunity to print the enclosed article of mine: Mary’s Mission Within All Religious Faiths: Loving Her Children with Compassion. Should you be willing to publish it, I request that you do not change, modify, add, or abbreviate anything I wrote. It should be printed as it is.
I wish you the very best and I hope the day will come when Jesus will give you that same light He gave Paul of Tarsus on his way to Damascus.
Sincerely yours,
Dr. Charles Mercieca, Executive Vice President, IAEWP (International Association of Educators for World Peace), NGO, United Nations (ECOSOC), UNDPI, UNICEF, UNCED & UNESCO
Dear Dr. Charles Mercieca,
Thank you for writing FCFC. We would like to print your article in a future issue, as we believe it will spark some interesting discussion. The title alone should be of serious concern to our Christian readers.
When we speak of the biblical Mary, we speak of her with high regard, but this differs immensely from Rome’s “Mary” which blatantly usurps Jesus’ role as the only Mediator. “ For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” (1Ti.2:5)
This “Mary” that Catholicism entreats man to “honor”, preached at Fatima “that there was no one to make sacrifice for sins”. How could this be the same Mary that stood at the cross and watched Jesus suffering a torturous, violent death for the sins of the world? Hebrews 10:14 is very clear: “For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are santified.” Just think Dr. Mercieca, Jesus offered His body for the sins of the whole world and this demon masquerading as Mary comes along and says that there is no one to make sacrifice for sins and you want me to pray to it? As I have stated in the past and will repeat...Mary is not God and cannot possess the attributes of God. She is not omnipotent, ominicient, nor omni-present. She cannot answer and mediate millions of prayers a second, guide millions of people in their lives, be there at the hour of their death, and do all the other countless activities without being God, which she is not! “To whom will ye liken me, and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be like?” (Isa.46:5)
By the way, it was Paul of Tarsus who “...hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands....” (Acts 19:26)
Most Sincere,
Rebecca A. Sexton
