Gateway to the 1996 Piedmont Georgia Roots page
and its 1999 sister page South Georgia Roots
In 1996, I began work on the Piedmont Georgia Roots genealogy page, which has evolved during the past several years into a substantial page with a large amount of information on the ancestry of my maternal great-great grandparents, who were born in Heard and Spalding Counties in Georgia's western Piedmont region.
Now, in 1999, I have begun work on a similar page called South Georgia Roots, tracing the ancestry of my paternal great-great grandparents, who were born in Coffee County in Georgia's southeastern Coastal Plain. For this reason, I have transformed the old index page for Piedmont Georgia Roots into the "Georgia Roots Gateway," leading to both pages. Please click below on the banner of your choice.
