What Katia is Doing Now
- She still is skating with the Stars on Ice Tour, currently in the 1999-2000 tour
- She has written another book, A Letter For Daria
- Along with Josee Chouinard, Scott Hamilton, and Kurt Browning, she has starred in two holiday TV specials sponsored by Target; Snowden on Ice in 1997 (in which Daria played her character's daughter), and The Snowden, Raggedy Ann, and Andy Holiday Show in 1998. She will be filming a new special during the summer of 1999 to be aired during the holiday season
- She has her own fragarance line, Katia, which is sold in the Target stores. A second line, Katia Sport appeared in April, 1999
