On this page I will provide you with each player's vital statistics such as name, number, position, date and place of birth, height, and weight. You will also find what I consider equally vital: whatever I can glean about players' family members and personal hobbies/interests. You will not find career statistics, since I do not have the time to invest in all the updating that would require. There are many other pages where you can find this, so visit my Red Wings Links if you need to know that stuff.
If you are aware of any personal information which is not on this page, please email me. I am not interested in rumours, something you saw on a message board, something that your friend's uncle's girlfriend's mother's boss's wife heard, etc. I will only add things that were announced in a newspaper, on a TV /radio broadcast, or in a official Red Wings publication. If you know for a fact that any of this information is inaccurate, please email me.
DISCLAIMER: To the best of my knowledge, this is correct information. It should not be regarded as official information, since I am in no way offiliated with the Detroit Red Wings, except as a fan. It could be incorrect, misquoted by my source or out of date.
