I have the three volume set of " A History of the Northern Peninsula of
Michigan and its People" by Sawyer 1911. Contains biographical sketchs, farming information, and mining information that may
very useful to others, would be willing to do look ups from the index.... |

I have a book printed in 1895 called Memorial Record of the Northern
Peninsula of Michigan, published by The Lewis Publishing Company.
In it are perhaps 800 to 1000 short biographical sketches of subscribers for
which they paid $15.00 in 1895 to be included in this book. I would be happy to do lookups for anyone interested. |

I am probably most useful in obtaining copies of documents and pictures of
individuals from Burt Township/Grand Marais. There are many resources
available to me there. I am currently working on the Alger County Sheriff
Emergency Medical Services in my spare time and it is located at the
courthouse here in Munising. |
