HORTON
My name is Ron Horton. My Grandfather was George Horton. He was born Jan. 13,
1879 in Frederic Mich. He died Aug. 27, 1959. Quite a few family legends
exist about this man, one of which he was the first white child born in
Crawford County (he played with Indians). He was a former township
supervisor and was reponsible for introducing the Grayling (fish) to the
area. Any information regarding this man would be appreciated. Please e-mail
me if you have any information.
Also, I have a family
bible that traces the Horton family 12 generations to 1700. Anyone tracing
