Government Resources on the Web

To quote from the introductory remarks at the University of Michigan's Documents Center for Federal Publications:
The Documents Center is a central reference and referral point for government information, whether local, state, federal, foreign or international. Its web pages are a reference and instructional tool for government, political science, statistical data, and news.

The site's Federal Government Resources page includes a large set of links to government pages that are document repositories. The subject matter includes: Bibliographies, Budgets, Civil Service, Copyright, Directories of Agencies and Web Sites, and on and on.

The Document Center also maintains a comprehensive list of Foreign Resources on the Web, with entries by region and country within region.

Its listings of International Agencies and Information on the Web and links to them are vast. For the most part, the Document Center maintains links to sites that themselves link to the "final information". This is also true of the State and Local Government information held by the Center.

All in all, the University of Michigan's Document Center is a cornucopia of information about government.
