What Do You Want to Be When You Grow Up?: This was one of my favorite speeches! Reading it over now, I realize that the theme could have been used as an icebreaker ... But, I gave it as one of my Advanced speeches, from the Storytelling Manual (the "Let's Get Personal" project).
Jenny, A True Story: This true story is very touching. It was another one of my Advanced speeches, from the Storytelling Manual (the "Touching Story" project).
Who Was Anne Frank?: This was another Advanced speech, from my Storytelling Manual (the "Bringing History to Life" project). I wrote it in "outline" format, rather than writing out the whole speech. Assuming you know the story of Anne Frank, you will be able to follow my outline here and "fill in the blanks" of some of what I said!
The Pursuit of Happiness: Doesn't everybody want to be happy? This speech was a lot of fun to write!
Cleveland Toastmasters 50^th Anniversary: I gave this speech, my first "outside" speech, at the 50th anniversary of my club, Cleveland #351. Keynote speaker at the event was Les Brown, inspirational speaker and Toastmasters Golden Gavel award winner.
Selling Toastmasters: This was a speech I presented, when I was a Target Speaker at an evaluation contest.
It Doesn't Count!: This was my first try at a humorous speech and it went over very well!.
Glossophobia: Glossophobia is the fear of public speaking. This speech tells the story of how I overcame my own glossophobia, with Toastmasters!.
