I recently inherited my deceased Aunt's genealogical research notes compiled 1974-1983. Among them were exhaustive searches of 1850 Pennsylvania census material for the surname Peiffer (various other spellings, ie. Phifer, Fifer, Pfeiffer). I am in the process of "filling in" counties she did not read, and would like to eventually to have the entire state transcribed. If she and I have missed any entries in these counties, I'd appreciate your contributions. Also, I think it would make this a more useful research tool to include maiden names on the wives, where known, as well as "son of" and "daughter of" where known, as sidenotes to the family entries, so would welcome any input there as well.
