Personal Interests

We are actively involved in our Baptist Church in Hallsville, Missouri. We have been blessed to teach the 4th grade Sunday School Class and also are involved in the Choir.

Golfing is something that Greg really enjoys, along with many of our friends, people at church, Greg's three brothers and his father. He likes to go as often as possible.

 
 
Horseback Riding is something that June really enjoys. She has her Quarter Horse Buckskin baby "Buck". He was born in 1984 and is a big part of the family.
 
Annaul Hayrides/Weiner Roast are traditional in our family. This annual event began in 1984. We are usually involved with 2-3 hayrides a year. Other than your traditional hayride and weiner roasting around the fire, we also play volleyball, various types of horse shoes, horseback riding, obstacle course, fishing, croquet and anything else we can think of. We really enjoy getting together and watch the kids and adults have fun.
Camping is something a lot of people in Missouri enjoy doing because there are many beautiful places to go. We enjoy doing this as a family on the weekends.
Canoeing is another thing that is popular in Missouri. As a family, we try and get to three or so of these a year. The 3rd weekend in July is our Annual Friends & Family Float Trip. This annual float trip began in 1989 and last year (1996) we had @70 people coming from: Missouri, Iowa, Louisanna, Nebraska and Minnesota. We are making more and more friends every year!
 

Traveling is something that Greg's parents raised their kids doing. I believe they have been to every state except Alaska. Most of the time it was by station wagon (except Hawaii and the west coast) but in recent years we have switched to a van or airplane. There are never just 3 or 4 that go. The trip we made to Hawaii included friends and family that packed in 18 on the plane. We try and plan at least 1-2 trips a year.
