Betty Morris: Personal Information
A member of the auxiliary since 1974, Betty is eligible under her
husband Zarnoff F. Morris who is a 22 year retiree of the U.S. Army
and has been an active VFW member for over 28 years.
Betty is the mother of four children; Raymond, Christie, Tony and Veronica;
and the proud grandmother of Darnell, Amber and Michelle Ray.
After graduating from High School with honors, Betty furthered her education
by attending the University of North Carolina, the Medical Technologist Program
at Saint Agnes Hospital, and Harford Community College.
Betty has been employed as a Medical Technician at Kirk U.S. Army Health Clinic
at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland since 1972.
Betty loves people (whether they be young or old), and they love her in return,
sensing her friendly, easy-to-talk-to manner. Although Betty belongs to many
organizations, her heart belongs to the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of
Foreign Wars where she has been a dedicated and enthusiastic member serving
our veterans and communities with pride and dignity.
We believe that Betty has the qualifications and leadership skills for the
office of national Guard. We sincerely hope you will consider and support
Betty Morris and cast your vote for her at the National Convention in Salt
Lake City in August 1997.
