and comes down from the Father of lights,..... James 1:17
At Christmastime amidst the hustle and bustle, the decorations, the music and the pretty packages, we are always reminded of those who may be facing a difficult time. This can be the loveliest time of the year for some.....but for many, unfortunately, this is the saddest time of the year! If you have ever experienced it, you will certainly know how unpleasant it can be.
There are those who will be facing their first Christmas without a loved one who has gone to be with the Lord this year. Other husbands, wives and children are awaiting the return of their spouse or their parent to bring their families together again. There are also so many wonderful single people left behind in all the commercialized romance of the holiday season. ![]() are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. Romans 13: 9-10
![]() This statement is no truer than at this time of year. If you truly want to feel the message of Christ, His birth, His life, the unselfish gift of His life to save ours......reach out and take someone in need under your wing this holiday! It is God's commandment! ![]() ![]()

Look around......do you know someone who might be in need? Perhaps the person most in need is someone very close to you. Perhaps that someone is your spouse or your children, your neighbor, your co-worker or your boss. Do they need your gift of Love! Do you know someone who is alone or hurting this holiday season?

There is no one closer to God than those who are in need!

Therefore we do not lose heart.
Perhaps you are reading this and are contemplating a reconciliation of your family! Know that God wants your family together, forever. Divorce is not a part of His plan for our lives. That does not mean that we will not face hard times.....we need to look to our spouses for the support, not tearing one another down when things are not right. Remember the day you vowed your life to your spouse to God. He blessed you with a companion and perhaps a family. What have you done with the gift our Lord has given to you! In God we have been given all the necessary tools to make a happy marriage and family. We need to use what God has given us and bring our families back into the family of God. What better time than right now to make this critical decision! ![]() Galatians 6:2 ![]()
