CHALLENGE 3: JAVA Script & JAVA Applet Demo

Sorry, your browser does not support Java

Challenge #3

Look over a number of Java Applet and JavaScript resources and familiarize yourself with what is available.

Find and Use at Least one precompiled Java Applet and pre-written one Java Script on one of your group's demonstration pages or if appropriate, on your main group page.

Explain why you chose the applet/script.

I chose the above applications because I thought that they may serve a useful purpose on someones page. The JAVA applet could be used as someone logo or main title to their page. The Greetings JAVA script is a nice way to personally greet someone who visits your page. The scrollit JAVA script is a good way to scroll a message across the bottom of the screen. The AGE JAVA script is just someting fun I threw in!

Explain what if any alterations were done to make it fit your needs.

The only alteration I made to the JAVA applet was to change the text to suit my needs. The same holds true for the scrollit JAVA script. I did not change the Greetings or the Age JAVA script in any way.
