The tenth generation ... John went to college in both Kalamazoo, Michigan and in Pennsylvania, after which he worked as a General Manager for his fathers business. When the business was sold he took a position with another company. He worked as an office manager in various positions during his 25+ years with that company. He married a former high school classmate, Lucile Dell. They lived in SW Michigan, where all four children were born. Then moved to a suburb of Detroit, and finally to a suburb of Chicago, where he later retired.
