Shimmering Moon

A moon lit night, love in the air.
They walk the beach, without a care.
Not knowing how this can be,
Must they stay apart for eternity ?
A loving kiss, they will share.
The passion is building, it's in the air.
Lips touch softly, their love will flow.
For soon they know, one will have to go.
A tear escapes the eyes of each.
As they are standing there on the beach.
Arms out stretched, last touch of their hands.
While the moon shimmers softly, on tiny grains of sand.
