The Reno/Tahoe International Airport is located in Reno off U.S. 395 about four miles south of Interstate 80. The Airport Police are not actually a sworn law enforcement agency, but they are armed. All members of the department are Reno Police Department reserve officers.

Just when you think you have all the patches for one agency, a really old one pops up. I have no clue as to the era of this patch, but I just aquired it. This appears to be a very old type of design and the backing is the old cheesecloth type. | |

(LEFT) - This patch just came out. I'm not sure but I think that the department just instituted a traffic division. There are several questions that come to mind about non-sworn officers and legal enforcement of all types. Please enlighten me. | (ABOVE) - This patch and the next one are currently in use by the department. This one came out to replace the last one. There may be more, and I sure would like to get my hands on any that I don't have. |
