The Greatest Gift I received a priceless gift But it was not beneath a tree It was hung upon a wooden cross For all the world to see Not tied with bows and paper Yet what an awesome sight That God did love me Oh so much For He sent down His Light With peace on earth, goodwill to men What greater gift to give? God's only Son did die for me That I could truly live May I remember to share His Love Throughout this joyous season And never lose sight of the fact That Jesus is the reason The gifts of God keep coming Throughout the entire year With friends to share the laughter And peace instead of fear So is it any wonder I sing His praise each day For Jesus is the answer The Truth, the Light, the Way Patrice A. Vicory The Christmas Fairy I am the Christmas fairy and everything I see, With wand and crown, As I look down From the top branch of the tree! I see the pretty coloured lights, The cards hung on the wall, Candies and sweets, And Christmas-time treats For visitors, when they call. I hear the Christmas carols, too, Out in the frosty air. And, on the roofs, The tap-tap of hooves Whoever can be there? What fun on Christmas morning! I'll remember all I saw, When I'm put away Until the day I'm on the tree, once more.
