OSWALD THE LUCKY RABBIT
Carl Laemmle, the head of Universal Studios told Charles Mintz that he wanted a cartoon series featuring a rabbit. Walt Disney got the job and Oswald was created. If you take a look at Oswald however he looks very much like a mouse I know.
