Even we bald guys can look cool wearing a "skull bucket". I'd like to say that this is the reason for my lack of hair, but I was losing it before I started wearing helmets. The real reason I wanted to become a helicopter pilot is so that my kids would think I was cool. Do I look cool? This picture was taken by fellow pilot and good friend
Matt Weller who left the rest of us for the much clearer skies of the U.S. Coast Guard in the summer of '98. After Matt finished his Coast Guard training in Mobile, AL, he was sent to North Bend, Oregon. Some guys get all the luck.
