      All the information here for online support groups has been gleaned from the WDW Encouragement Board or while surfing the WWW. I am not personally connected to most of them in any way. Occasionally there is an error due to changes that have been made or because of typo's. If you find such an error please e-mail me so that I can investigate. If you know what correction needs to be made in detail, it would be even better. Thank you.

      • Weigh Down Workshop Cathy Barnhill is the administrator of a Weigh Down Workshop Robin. It is open to anyone who would like to send and receive WDW e-mail. This group has coordinators, class participants, and people who are doing it "by the book". If you would like to join or get more information please e-mail Cathy at barnhill@erinet.com

      • Weigh Down Workshop Mommies Club is an e-mail support group for pregnant and/or nursing mothers who are doing WDW. To subscribe send e-mail to Michelle Scheen who is List Administrator for the Mommies Club support group .

        "Mommies Club is an e-mail support group for pregnant and/or nursing mommies who are doing WDW. Last year I saw a need for these women to gain support from each other during this precious time in our live. I noticed that these women had different issues than the average WDW participant, so I started WDW after I felt the Lord was leading me to do so. I started WDW in May '97 and lost 68 pounds all while nursing. I never before had lost weight while nursing. I watched another mommie loose all of her weight and that convinced me that I could do it. This group of ladies is real special. Whenever there is a question, someone is there to answer it. I love this unique group. If you would like to subscribe just e-mail me. This group isn't as active as the other e-mail support groups since we are all busy mommies, but someone is always there. Hope that gives enough info for eveyone. God Bless."

      • Now you can vist the Mommies Club Online! The Weigh Down Mommies Club site is for the pregnant and nursing mothers who are following the Weigh Down Workshop program. There are different challenges to following this program and being pregnant or nursing. This is a place for support and encouragement from other mothers going through these same challenges.

      • Weigh Down Workshop Club 199 "is for those who have not seen the underside of 200 for awhile." Debi Gades is the one to contact for info.

      • Weigh Down Workshop Weigh Down Online listserv is for ANY WDW participant. Barbara Curtiss is the NEW lady to contact.

      • Weigh Down Workshop CoRUs (Coordinators R Us) is exclusively for Coordinators their helpers. June Davis . is the Listserv Administrator.

      • Weigh Down Workshop Bonita Quinn has a new group that consists of at present, about 7 sisters who are subscribed to other WD e-mail support groups but who felt the same need for additional support for their infertility challenges. If you are interested, please e-mail Bonita personally and she will get the information to you as soon as she can on how join their e-mail support group, BUDDIES (Between Us Desert Dwellers Infertility Encouragement Support).

        Are You Looking for an Encouragement Companion?

        Many of us would like to have additional support during our journey through the desert. Finding a fellow Desert Dweller(DD), an e-mail buddy, may provide you with that extra "boost" you need. Sometimes it may be easier to drop your buddy a short note instead of opening that refrigerator door. Jubilee has coordinated a place to register to be or to get a desert e-mail buddie.

      • Weigh Down Workshop Terry Todd and his wife run a mailing list, wdwnet, for people to share their Weigh Down Workshop experiences with others on the internet. Send me an email and ask more about it or sign up for wdwnet at: tlt@tltodd.com

        These support groups are not officially conected to The Weigh Down Workshop in any way but they are encouraged by Gwen Shamblin and WDW, they know how important it is to know that you are NOT ALONE on this journey.
