Breashears' Deep Roots & Tangled Branches
A Cronological report on "The
Orphans of William" as I have researched them. I have found
them as Quakers in the Concord meeting house near Chichester,
Chester County PA, 1689. The Records of Philadelphia, Philadelphia PA, reflect the
Quakers of Wiltshire and list the sons of Edward and Ann (FRY) BEZER of Bishop
Canning and Rowde, Wilts, England as they arrived in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, lived in
Chichester Co., PA and transfered their land between the three brothers and their heirs
viz: Edward Jr.; John and William BEZER. They left some wills in Old Chester County
Pennsylvania,
There is supporting evidence as researched by Beverly FLEET,
Virginia genealogist, that they are descended from the WILLIAM
and JOHN BURCHER who were at Hogg Island near James City
before 1622. I worked out the forefather John BOURCHIER and so
was delighted when I found Beverly Fleets lineages indicating that
was where he placed them also. These are the heirs of JOHN
BOURCHIER Earl of Bath, as reflected on the Henry Alexander Breshears forefather
chart below..
