He married Barbara Jean Depner in Shawnee, Ka., July 22, 1977. Barbara was born December 3, 1950 in Billings, Yellow Stone Co., Mt.. Barbara is the daughter of Edwin Martin Depner and Bernadette Mary Durbin.

Michael Wayne Minter and Barbara Jean Depner had the following children:
