He married twice. He married Mary Jane Calton. Mary was born circa 1823. Mary died in Jonesville, Lee Co. Va.. He married Rosa Olinger.

William A. Parsons and Mary Jane Calton had the following children:

326 iv. Sarah Parsons was born July 23, 1857. She married Alexander Allen September 1, 1881. Alexander was born circa 1857.

327 v. William J. Parsons was born circa 1861.

328 vi. Jackson Parsons was born circa 1863.

329 vii. Amanda Parsons was born circa 1867.
