75. James Monroe⁵ Parsons (Rebecca⁴ Pennington, Martha (Patsy)³ Flanery, John², Thomas¹) was born in Jonesville, Lee Co. Va. February 20, 1830. James died May 2, 1877 at 47 years of age.

He married twice. He married Lucinda Bishop October 14, 1851. Lucinda was born April 19, 1834. Lucinda died June 16, 1873 at 39 years of age. He married Amanda Olinger February 11, 1874. Amanda was born circa 1830.

James Monroe Parsons and Amanda Olinger had the following children:

330 i. Rebecca H.⁶ Parsons was born August 5, 1852. Rebecca died January 1, 1872 at 19 years of age. She married William Franklin Clark. William was born January 16, 1853.

331 ii. Virginia Lucinda Parsons was born April 18, 1874.

James Monroe Parsons and Lucinda Bishop had the following children:

332 iii. Mary Minerva Parsons was born August 6, 1854. Mary died March 11, 1874 at 19 years of age.

333 iv. Martha Lavina Parsons was born August 16, 1856. Martha died March 12, 1873 at 16 years of age.

334 v. Nancy Jane Parsons was born September 3, 1858. Nancy died in Died in Child, Birth. She married Robinson.

335 vi. America Elizabeth Parsons was born October 23, 1860. She married W.a. Yeary.

+ 336 vii. John B. Floyd Parsons was born March 20, 1863.

337 viii. William Cecil Parsons was born March 23, 1866. William died October 3, 1909 at 43 years of age. He married Roberta Lee Graham July 21, 1886.

338 ix. Phoebe Orlena Parsons was born March 6, 1868.

339 x. Eliza Victoria Parsons was born December 1869. Eliza died January 11, 1870 at less than one year of age.

+ 340 xi. Julia Ann Parsons was born January 1, 1872.
