Nathaniel F. Bates8 and Martha Jane Irby Bates
This is my GreatGrandfather and Grandmother. He fought with Virginia 38th Infantry, Co. B, during the Civil War. Five of his brothers were also in the war. Nat and Martha married in Como, Mississippi, January 15, 1873. They had eleven children.
