Chocolate Cherry Cake
1 chocolate fudge cake mix
1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs
1/3 cup oil
Mix all ingredients by hand until well blended.
 Bake in greased and floured 9 X 13 pan at
350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
 Cool 10 minutes. Frost in pan while warm.
Frosting
1 cup sugar
5 Tbs butter
1/3 cup milk
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Mix first three ingredients in small pan.
 Boil, stirring constantly for 1 minute.
 Remove
from heat, add chocolate chips and stir until melted.
 Pour over warm cake.
Applesauce Cake
1 Butter golden cake mix
1 (16oz.) jar applesauce
3 eggs 
1 stick margarine, cut into 6 pieces
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup sugar 
Mix first 4 ingredients for 3 minutes. 
 Poru half the batter into a greased and floured 9 X13 pan. 
 Mix cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle over batter. 
 Top with remaining batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
Sour Cream Pistachio Cake
1 Butter yellow cake mix
1 (4-serving) box pistachio instant pudding
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup oil 
1/2 cup cold water
Mix all ingredients with electric mixer for 3 minutes.
 Pour half the batter into greased and floured tube pan.
 Sprinkle with 1/2 the topping below.
Poru remaining batter over and sprinkle with remaining topping.
 Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes.
Topping
1 cup chopped pecans 
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Mix all ingredients
