1816-1817 Sally Silvey charged Bradley Dalton to be father of her bastard child.
Bradley Dalton and William Silvey, his security, acknowledged themselves jointly indebted
for $300.00 for maintenance of child.
Oct. 23, 1816 Asa Cobb Esq. paid into court $5 a fine
collected from Polly Silvey for refusing to declare the father of her bastard child and
returned his recognizance and with Shadrack Stephens & Wm. Cobb for the support &
maintenance of said child. p. 99
1822 there is a mention of a Joseph Silvey indited for
murder. A son Brackston Silvey is mentioned and a daughter Polly, and his wife Becky.
Polly mentions Uncle William.

John Silvy was charged with Bastery on May 6, 1829, the proceedings were quashed.

1837 State vs. Thomas Silvey for assault and battery. John Silvey posted bond.
1838 State vs. Thomas Silvey, James Taylor, Alexander Nail for assault and battery.
1839 State vs. Thomas and John Silvey.
1844 State vs. Thomas Silvey for assalting Louisa Melton and J Reaves.
1858 State vs. Samuel Silvey, Monroe Roberts and
Joseph Riggs for keeping a bawdy house. Witnesses: John McCormac, Henry Liles.
R. S. Roberts was bondsman for Monroe Roberts.
C. H. Alderson and Jura Edwards were on the bond of Samuel Silvey.
